Victor Bachynsky In 1992-1994 Victor Teodosovych Bachynsky, a candidate of medical science, an assistant professor worked at the department. He was born June 15, 1952 in the village of Komarno, Gorodoksk District, Lviv Oblast. He graduated from the State Medical Institute (1976), candidate of Medical Science (1986), assistant (1979), assistant professor at the Department of Forensic Medicine (1991) at Bukovynian State Medical Academy. Since 1986 till 2003 he led Chernivtsi Regional Bureau of medical forensic examination. Since 2003 till 2005 – head of the Medicare Department at Chernivtsi Regional State Administration. At the present – head of Chernivtsi Regional Bureau of medical-forensic examination, assistant professor at the Department of Anatomical Pathology and Forensic Medicine of Bukovynian State Medical Academy, has the highest qualified category in forensic medicine, its organization and management of health protection. Scientific major: forensic-medical traumatology, implementation of methods of correlative optics in forensic medicine, biological resistance of materials. He is the author of 21 scientific articles, co-author of 2 textbooks, 4 declarational patent for inventions and 4 licenses for rational ideas. Trained one candidate of medical science. Distinguished Doctor of Ukraine (1995); recipient of rewards: "10 years of MDA of Ukraine" and "Bukovynian Medicine" (2002); rewarded an insignia of "Agapit Pechersk of the second degree” (2004). During his work at the department he taught a course entitled “Forensic Medicine”.
