Vasyl Onofreychuk Vasyl Dmytrovych Onofreychuk was born January 13, 1958 in the village of Voloka, Hlyboka District, Chernivtsi Oblast. In 1982 he graduated with honors from the Military Red Banner Institute of Ministry of Defense of USSR with specialization in “Law Science” and received a qualification of the lawyer. 07.1982-10.1983 – investigator at the Department of Military Prosecutor in Ivano-Frankivsk. 10.1983-09.1987 – investigator at the Department of Military Prosecutor of army in Afghanistan. 01.1984-09.1987 – investigator, senior investigator at the Departmet of Military Prosecutor in Moscow garrison, also assistant of military prosecutor of Moscow garrison, deputy chief. 09.1987-01.1990 – deputy military prosecutor of Chernivtsi garnison. 01.1990-05.1991 – prosecutor at the investigation department of Chernivtsi Oblast Office of Public Prosecutor. In May 1995 one of the first workers of the Office of Public Prosecutor, who came to work to the College of Law at Chernivtsi State University on the position of the assistant professor. In 1986 defended a thesis at Kiev National University with the topic „Precarium in Roman Law”. At the College of Law of Chernivtsi State University worked till August 2003, taught the course «Criminal and procedural law». Since August 2003, cofounder and director general of the company „Romstal Ukraine”. Lives in Kiev.
