Georgiy Ivasyuk

Among experts who worked at the department it is well worth mentioning Georgiy Ivanovych Ivasyuk. He was born May 7, 1951 in the family of the worker in the city of Storozhynets, Chernivtsi Oblast. In 1976 G. Ivasyuk entered the department of Kharkiv Juridical Institute, and after its graduating in 1980 was sent on a work to the Office of Public Prosecutor in Chernivtsi Oblast. G. Ivasyuk had been working at the Office of Public Prosecutor since July 1980 till September 2001 and during that period worked on the positions of the investigator at the Office of Public Prosecutor in Khotyn District, Chernivtsi Oblast, senior investigator at the Office of Public Prosecutor in Chernivtsi Oblast, deputy chief and head of the investigation department at Chernivtsi Department of Public Prosecutor, public prosecutor of Chernivtsi, deputy chief and head of the inspection department of keeping within the law, and department of organized crime control.
After retirement from the Office of Public Prosecutor, in 2001-2005 worked on the position of the assistant professor at the department, taught the course “Criminalistics”.
Nowadays, G.I. Ivasyuk works as a Head of the Inspection Department of keeping within the law by the bodies of police agency at conducting inquiry and prejudicial inquiry at the Office of Public Prosecutor in Chernivtsi Oblast. G. Ivasyuk has a high rank of the senior adviser of justice.
