Anatoliy Ogorodnyk Anatoliy Petrovych Ogorodnyk worked at the department during 1996-2003. He was born April 26, 1950 in the village of Struga, Novoushytsk District, Khmelnytsk Oblast. In 1976 graduated from Kharkiv Institute of Law with the specialization in jurisprudence. He started practicing in 1969. In 1976 A.P.Ogorodnyk was elected a judge and worked as a Judge in People's Court at Komunarsk City People’s Court of Voroshylovgradsk Oblast, since 1978 – member of the chamber of appeals dealing with the criminal cases of Voroshylovgradsk Regional Court. In 1984 A.P.Ogorodnyk was elected a member of panel of judges in criminal cases of Chernivtsi Regional Court. In September 1995 appointed on the position of vice-chairman of Chernivtsi Regional Court in criminal cases. In 2001 was elected a head of the Court of Appeal in Chernivtsi Oblast. General seniority period is 37 years. Seniority on the position of the judge is 30 years. In June 1997 A.P.Ogorodnyk, according to the decree of Verhovna Rada of Ukraine was appointed judge of Chernivtsi Regional Court termlessly. He has the first judge category. In 2002 A.P.Ogorodnyk was given the rank of "Honored Lawyer of Ukraine”. That year he was given the service distinction of the Minister of Justice of Ukraine “For service”. That year A.P.Ogorodnyk was rewarded the “Honored Distinction of the Supreme Justice Soviet of Ukraine” for his great contribution into the consolidation of judicial power. In 2006 he was conferred a decoration „For service of ²²² degree”. A.P.Ogorodnyk was the member of the delegation of Ukrainian judges in international relations of experience exchange concerning juridical issues of different countries. In 2000 on the invitation of American Association of Lawyers A.P.Ogorodnyk as a member of judges delegation of Ukraine visited the USA concerning the issues of judicial initiative in Central and Eastern Europe after the Project of the criminal law reformation; in May, the same year A.P.Ogorodnyk participated in the seminar: «Judicial Routine. Judges ask, judges answer» (Switzerland). A.P.Ogorodnyk was elected as a delegate of the congress of Ukrainian judges, was encouraged by the diploma of Ministry of Justice of Ukraine, Chernivtsi Regional Soviet and Regional State Administration. Nowadays A.P.Ogorodnyk works at the Department of Justice. |
